After several constituents contracted me to express concerns regarding a recent spate of littering at Inchgarth Reservoir in Aberdeen, which is a popular local beauty spot, I immediately contacted Scottish Water, who own the reservoir, to raise this issue.
The current situation is unacceptable and has had a detrimental impact on the local environment while making it hazardous for dog walkers and other passers-by.
I am pleased that Scottish Water have confirmed that they will work with Aberdeen City Council to explore the possibility of installing more bins at the site. You can read more in the Press and Journal.
These local issues are very important to me and if you have any concerns please do get in touch.
I cover the entire North East region and while I may have to get help in some cases from one of my excellent North East Scottish Conservative MSP colleagues we will take action and do our best within reason to help.
