TheCourier.co.uk report that the Health Secretary, Shona Robison, has been told her position is “untenable” following fresh reports of cash-strapped health boards using endowment funds to support their core budgets. I have called for the investigation to be widened beyond NHS Tayside.

The Sunday Post report that the Justice Secretary, Michael Matheson, has warned the Scottish Police Authority that plans to cut 100 jobs as part of a massive savings programme cannot go ahead unless the number of beat officers is maintained.

Stonehaven twinning with Acheres, France

The Sunday Post report on figures revealed by the Scottish Conservatives through an FOI request to Police Scotland that show in the 10 months to 31 January 2018 there were 5,394 recorded crimes for bike thefts.

Children as young as 8 caught housebreaking

The Scottish Sun report on figures released from the Scottish Children's Reporter Administration that show more than 500 kids as young as eight have been accused of housebreaking in the past three years. There have been around 190 referrals a year since 2014-15 for under 18s.
